I suffered with patellar tendinopathy for nearly 5 years. I found that one thing worked particularly well for reducing knee pain: "eccentric exercise." I set up this website because there is little information elsewhere on protocols for such exercise. Through trial and error over the past two years, I discovered a protocol that works for me.
There is no guarantee it will work for you. You should consult physicians and physical therapists to determine if such exercise is appropriate for you. Under no circumstance should you do such exercise without consultations and without proper supervision. If done improperly, such exercises may make your condition worse.
